Yesterday I “tabled” at the most organized and fun event ever! What a great group of folks and families that toured our booth. We were able to hand our lettuce seeds to kids, talk about Sierra Club’s mission, encourage folks to contact their local FL reps about supporting the “RPS” (Renewable Energy Portfolio) that seems to be going nowhere in the House, and get 55 signatures for Florida Hometown Democracy Amendment, an amendment against sprawl here in Florida.
We were well shaded (important for a redhead) and well fed!
Thanks to the organizers and worker bees. You have a great hive.
And I love my new fashion statement- a beautiful new designer grocery bag! Thanks Edyn and Susoma!
