After challenging our chefs to come up with the ultimate sandwich and then introducing our new artisan sandwich menu, we’ve certainly been doing a lot of thinking about sandwiches. So, for our February giveaway, we want to ask, what’s your favorite wacky sandwich? Note: The Ahi Tuna Melt will be served on ciabatta bread instead of focaccia bread because the focaccia bread previously used on this sandwich no longer meets our standards. We will be replacing the ciabatta bread with a new focaccia recipe as we begin the full menu roll out during the week of February 6, 2012.

We challenged our chefs to create the ultimate sandwich to complement our current selections. What we got in return were five of the most incredible sandwiches we had ever tasted. Unwilling to part with any of the newly introduced creations, we decided to add them to our menu alongside our most popular deli sandwiches. With seared ahi tuna, marinated portobellos, grassfed beef, and plenty of organic veggies among the gourmet flavor pairings, we’re positive that whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or just plain hungry, our artisan sandwich menu delivers!
This week (January 30th – February 3rd) will begin the preview of our new sandwich menu, with one artisan sandwich released each day of the week. During our preview week, each sandwich will only be available for purchase on its designated day. All of our artisan sandwiches will return with the launch of the full menu the week of February 6th.
On Monday (January 30th), we’ll be introducing the Vegetarian Banh Mi:
Vegan Goodness from the Grill
A Vietnamese-style sandwich, the Vegetarian Banh Mi starts with a marinade and ends with a touch of heat and a ton of flavor. Marinated grilled tofu, garlic aioli, cilantro, jalapeno, cucumber, carrots, and daikon slaw combine to change the minds of tofu haters and meat lovers everywhere.
